Drake Lagoon Bio - Resume

Drake Lagoon has been a professional musician for over 12 years. His history includes many familiar names and songs. His future includes writing new tracks for the upcoming studio release, and launching a supporting national tour.

1994-1996
Toured nationally with Darrel Dawkins (BB King's band leader) on acoustic guitar. On several dates played accompanying BB King.

February 1997-July 1997
Toured nationally with Neil Young performing as rhythm guitarist. Also performed with Pearl Jam on several dates.

August 1997
Wrote, performed and recorded a solo acoustic album.

March 1998
Performed acoustic guitar in studio for Clive Stevens' jazz album "Best Wishes".

May 1998
Wrote and performed the track "Dent" on Sunday Munich's album "Pneuma" on Kyan Records. Assisted in composing nearly all other tracks on the album.

July 1998
Toured nationally performing acoustic guitars with Dwight Yoakam.

August 1998
Performed electric guitar and programmed synth and ProTools in studio on the album "American Nervoso" for Botch.

February 1999
Performed guitars for A.F.I. filling in for their regular guitarist for one performance.

April 1999
Performed guitars for Lamb of God, filling in for their regular guitarist for one performance.

July 1999
Performed guitars with Motorhead on their national tour.

August 1999
Toured nationally with Fantomas programming ProTools and digital effects.

January 2001-August 2001
Performed acoustic guitar in studio for Nine Inch Nails' album "The Fragile". Toured internationally with the band supporting the release.

September 2001
Performed electric guitar on tour with Buckcherry in support of their self-titled release.

October 2001
Performed acoustic and electric guitars on three dates with Chuck Mangione in Seatlle, Spokane and Portland, OR.

November 2001
Performed backing vocals, acoustic and electric guitars on three dates with Kittie in Seattle, Spokane and Portland, OR. Also performed guitars with supporting artist Dry Kill Logic.

February 2002
Wrote and recorded a full-length album as "Twerp" with Revolt Records. On the album, "Into", Drake performed on all instruments and contributed to mixing the tracks.

April 2002
Toured internationally in support of the Twerp release "Into".

January 2003
Launched an independent label, Fraction Records, which was sold in 2006 for a profit.

March 2003
Wrote and recorded his first solo industrial album as "The 3rd", "Thermo". Performed vocals and programming. Also recorded, mixed and mastered the entire album. Released on Fraction Records.

May 2004
Wrote and recorded his second solo industrial album as "The 3rd", "Sounds and Silence". Performed vocals and programming. Also recorded, mixed and mastered the entire album. Released on Fraction Records.

March 2005
Wrote and recorded his third solo industrial album as "The 3rd", "Living with Ghosts". Performed vocals and programming. Also recorded, mixed and mastered the entire album. Released on Fraction Records.

June 2005
Began writing and recording an acoustic version of the 2002 Twerp release on Revolt Records, "Into". This album also included new Twerp songs. Album is being held, and to be released along with the next full-length solo acoustic album as a double release.

March 2006
Pre-production and writing for the next acoustic studio album. Scheduled for recording in mid-October. Stay tuned for more news!
